Friday Round Up: 11.11.11

Long time, no blogging. In an effort to try and get back in the swing of this, I'm going to start doing some Friday Round Ups of news and goings-on.

#1 this week was definitely the launch of Kat Cizek's One Millionth Tower project at the Mozilla Festival. I saw her HIGHRISE project installation at IDFA last year and it was very cool. I love the interactivity of the website design and the ability to explore. The best part is that I feel like I've only scratched the surface.

* Also, small side note: how can you not love that thoughtful attention to detail with the ambient sound design? I find it really comforting.

#2: Ebert Presents is going off the air unless they can find funding? If Roger Ebert cannot find funding, the rest of us filmmakers are in serious trouble.
